Quooze 2037 - Div25 (Div20) Luxury

Updated twice, originally here, and the (better?) here.

Luxury, Xhvy. Ch., Hvy Sus., Super PP, driver & gunner, 4 SD tires, VMG in turret, 2 linked RL front, MD back, front bumper trigger, FE, Hi-res for gunner, SWC from driver to RL, Ejector seat for gunner. 135 points armor: F30 (ram) R25 L25 B30 U15 T10; Acc. 5, HC 3, 6600 lbs, $24,650

  • Option 1 - Quooze-Havi - remove gunner, ejector seat, FE, SWC, ram-plate, bumper trigger; replace MD with linked HDFOJ rear, HDSS right, add 35 points armor (usu. F40 R30 L30 B30 T20 U20) 6590 lbs. $25,000 even.

Design Notes: Ejector seats again. And for the gunner?! Maybe he owed me money. Anyway, way too under-armored for Division 25. Back in '37 there were many more reasons to use lasers than there are now; why not use 'em in the high divisions?
Here's a quick modern upgrade [in 2013 I'm moving this to a separate entry]:

Option 2 - Quooze 20 (2057)- remove Hi-res, bumper trigger, ejector seat, 10 shots from VMG, and ram-plate, move SWC to gunner, add two body-armor suits & 28 points armor (usu. F30, B30, R35, L35, T18, U15). $19,960

And, no, I don't know what a Quooze is. It's one of the more usable examples from my 'stupid name period.' (Originally, though, it was "Quooz" - is that better or worse?)

[Updated in Nov 8, 2013 - I'm keeping a lot of the original text here because this shows some of my original evolution in writing these cars up; I didn't have a "Name Notes" at this point]
